On June 6th, 2024, Paul Scott Ritchie passed away peacefully with his family by his side
after a very brief battle with cancer. Paul, loving husband of Patricia (Patti), father to Jordan (Alexis), Tyler (Amanda) and devoted Grandfather (Pop Pop) to Raelyn. He will be remembered for his sense of humour, smile and loving nature. Paul enjoyed life to the fullest with Family, Friends and his fellow Fire Fighting Brothers and Sisters. Paul retired in August 2019 as Platoon Chief after a 35-year career with Ajax Fire & Emergency Services. Paul had amazing adventures while travelling to many destinations. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
When Tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an Angel
came and called my name, and took me by the hand; the Angel said, My place
was ready, in Heaven far above, and that I’d have to leave behind all those I
dearly love. But when I walked through Heaven’s Gate, I felt so much at home,
for God looked down, smiled at me, and told me Welcome Home. So, when
tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart, for every time you think
of me, I’m right there in your heart.
Visitation will be at the Accettone Funeral Home, 384 Finley Avenue, Ajax on
Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 1:00 pm til 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm til 9:00 pm
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 14 at the Ajax Convention Centre,
550 Beck Crescent, Ajax at 1:00 pm.
