Our History

Early in his career, our founder, Mr Dino Accettone, felt the need to provide a personalized, meaningful commitment to the families of Durham.

In early 1989, construction of the Accettone Funeral Home Ltd. began. Later that summer Dino, along with his family, was able to realize their dream: Family serving families.

Situated on 3 beautifully treed, green acres with parking for over eighty vehicles, our bright, modern and tastefully furnished facility can meet the needs of all families, regardless of beliefs or background.

A family's need to add personal touches to the celebration of a loved one's life is encouraged and guided by our experience of well over twenty years of hands-on caring and helping.

With personal service available twenty four hours a day, each family we serve can take comfort in knowing that from the first phone call to the post funeral reception, every detail and arrangement will be handled by our family.
