After years of ill health, Ken passed away peacefully at Centennial Place, Millbrook on Thursday, June 24, 2021.
Ken will be missed by his wife, Gail of almost 54 years of marriage, his daughters, Lori (Laura), Kelly (spouse Rob), Ken Jr. (spouse Debbie), Grandchildren Tanner (spouse Karley), Jordan (fiance Kayte), Leah (fiance Billy), Laura, Jessie (Johnny) and Great Grandchildren Maddison and Nolan, as well as his sister Lynne and niece Karen (spouse Glenn and their daughter, Ava), nephews, David and his sons Michael and Ethan) and nephew James. Ken will be missed by Gail’s brother, Gord (wife Shelley) and their children Julie (spouse Jesse, their children Jake and Jessie), nephew Luke (wife Melissa and their children Lily and Ryan, sister-in-law Susie, nephew Jake (his daughter Vivian).
Prior to Ken’s failing health he enjoyed golfing, playing darts and snooker with many friends in the Creek. A celebration of life will be held later in July or August this year; the date and place has yet to be determined.
A thank you to all the Bowmanville paramedics, health care workers at Whitby Kidney Care, his PSW Allison, who set up his home hemo and peritoneal dialysis machines and the health care workers and management at Centennial Place in Millbrook.
